Adults are not like children!

Adults are not like children!   Why are adults not like children? They are unable to forget either hurt feelings or past Even they neither laugh nor smile genuinely Further, they show neither sportsmanship nor jolly nature They neither communicate outspokenly nor listen authentically Even they use neither power of imagination nor positive visualisation They neither give up old habits nor take up a new one They neither behave like small children nor elderly. They are neither ready to forget nor forgive others easily They even neither enjoy the present nor hope for the future like the children Why are adults not like children? Either they live in reel life or dream one! For, they are adults, not children.   By Haridas Patil

A help begets helping hands!

A help begets helping hands! On Sunday morning, my mother asked my younger advocate brother to bring a stamp pad for the old lady to put a thumb on the insurance document. The mother had been telling him for the last few days. But he every day behaved unhearing it. On that day, he became furious and scolded her for why she had been bringing unnecessary work to him. Further, he exclaimed that such work had no benefits to him or them. However, my mother coolly pointed out, “Don’t miss the free blessings of the people, as they will bless you if you help them. So don’t leave such a free blessing.”   On hearing attentively, I got convinced that she rightly said. It means that we all believe in the law of attraction. If help is offered to others, the same is to be received.   Therefore, we can say that help begets helping hands everywhere.   Cry and smile! I cried but Hid my emotion And tried to behave well Still, I inwardly kept crying Didn’t know, ‘why’ Didn’t show a true feeling. So, tried crying in the corner Taking help of listening old song Still didn’t cry as I used to do it When I was a child. Similarly, I didn’t smile real one Sometimes just stretching lips Or plastic-smile before others. Seemed to be wearing a mask Not for the Coronavirus But hiding my own ‘I' All the time to hide it.   By Haridas Patil (Blogger, Educator & Trainer)

Keep the word honesty thoughtfully...............!

Keep the word honesty thoughtfully…….! Some days back, I was at the mosque with my friend. He was discussing some important matter about the Madrassa. It was related to functioning and maintaining it. He started discussing with two concerned people. While they were discussing, I just kept hearing them. One of them shared his college experience. He said that he was working at an engineering college at the beginning of his career. At a time, he was appointed based on periods. He was supposed to receive his monthly salary on total periods. Once he was about to have it, at a time, he brought to the principal’s notice that most of the day, college students didn’t attend his lecture. So he didn’t want the salary of those days. However, he was told that he at least went to the class, waited for them and did his duty. So he deserved money for his work, but he refused him thoughtfully and expressed his concern to him about what he would reply to almighty whom he regularly prayed if he had
