Tree Plantation fest at Ume School
Ume
school organised a simple and unique celebration on this 73th Independence Day.
As the president furled the flag and delivered a short speech. It was very
meaningful and concise. Then the students and the teachers had tree plantation
programme with Railway Protection Special Force Department,Udhana. It was just behind the
school building, so they walked there with a sapling in their hands. They showed
the meaningful message to the society without any buzz. Silently they reached
there and the police officers
allocated the land for the tree plantation.
One
by one a team of the teachers and the students dug out the land, planted a
small sapling. Even these police officers supported the programme. After that
sub inspector Mr. Lekhra Meena distributed the chocolates to the students.
Simultaneously sub inspector Mr. Dinesh Chand encouraged the students for such
programme in the future. Assistant sub inspector Mr. D C Barman and Constable
Mr. Nishant Giri were seen to help the students and the teachers.
Sharing
the sweets with these officers, the president of the school Mr. Afroz Khan offered the thanks
them. Gradually the students walked back the school with same discipline and
enthusiasm. In the end, the president appreciated everyone for great work with
the simplicity. He hoped that the message would have been reached to all
beings. All left the school premises in hope of bringing the positive result on
the independent day. That was to plant tree and save our Mother Earth.
