Life is tasteless or tasty.............!
Life is tasteless or tasty…………!
Every moment life changes its course and direction. It
happens because of our thought, perception and tendency. That’s why it seems to
be different from everyone. But mission and vision hold it back for the human
being. If these are not kept, life creates chaos, fuss and messing up
everything.
Sometime back I had a word with my close friend, who
and his wife work as government employees having monthly package around one lac
in Mumbai region, complained about his life. It seemed to him tasteless,
monotonous and grave. Since the lockdown, he and his wife were confined to work
and they kept doing it in the sake of completing.
Then, it became a daily routine and became mechanical
for them. They hardly went outside for urgent work. He shared with me about his
feeling of tasteless and monotony. Further, he exposed to discontinue the work
and like to go far where he would find a purpose of life and challenges.
After that, I urged him to make his work interesting
and purposeful. But he was tired of life that he was living. Even he didn’t
like to get up in the morning and had a prayer in his home temple. As earlier
he used to do it, now he was out of the natural course of life. I felt very
anxious when he was sharing his view.
I left the conversation incomplete and went into a
pool of situation where he was caught. But after that sharing, on seeing two
young men from outskirts of the city as rag-pickers. They looked quite happy
and excited about life. Though they
didn’t have much money yet to live it blissfully. Every day they had a routine
of leaving home at 9 after taking tea and stale food of last night.
They looked for a heap of garbage in the city where
they could find a coin of one or two or ten rupees. That became a cry of their
joy. It prompted them to work up to evening. The whole day they worked in hope
of getting something, which was the purpose of their lives. If they got
valuable material from the stink of garbage, their joy had no boundary.
Every day they hoped of finding something while
leaving their hut. In this way, it became a way of their survival. Happiness, joy, excitement and purpose were
gifted and blessed to them as if the heaven came down for them.
These two were clear-cut of living life. One had
everything at a click of the finger but lost the course of life. Other had
nothing, but ready to find it anywhere. It is said,
“Life is a game to
play with everyone.”
In these two distinct examples, we find that it plays
with everyone and making one tasteless, other tasty.
