Uttarayan celebration at Decent Child High School

Uttarayan festival, known as Hindu Tradition Makar Sankranti, was celebrated at Decent Child School on 12 January 2022. It was a mark of love and donation. So, the students received the instruction that they would bring sweets and old clothes for slum dwellers. So, it was decided by them donate these objects to the poor. As per their plan, they have formed the group under the leadership of the subject teacher. Then, they went to the slum area and mixed with the people. Later on, they distributed the chocolates and the Indian sweets. Apart from that, they gifted the old clothes and new dresses. Simultaneously, they played with the children and flew the kites. They spent the day with the families. At 12 o clock, they got back to their respective families with happiness and satisfaction. They remembered the day and realised the true meaning of humanity.
