Whether a guarantee or no guarantee to language learners.

Whether a guarantee or no guarantee to language learners.

In teaching spoken English, the teacher always faces a problem with whether a guarantee or non-guarantee is to be given to the parents. Sometimes, it happens that they ask whether their child will be able to speak or not. It is said that no guarantee will be applicable in language teaching and learning. It solely depends upon the learner’s efforts and abilities. However, as a responsible teacher, he takes care of several points while teaching them so that they can learn and speak the English language well.

Let’s see them one by one. Firstly, relaxation is required in the class while both teacher and learner are attending it. It is a must for them to feel at home so that they can express themselves freely without any doubt. It helps them to come out of their complex mindset.

Happiness plays a crucial role in English language learning. It prepares them to speak happily and listen to the teacher attentively. Further, they speak whatever they have listening. In that way, they go ahead with language learning. When they both are happy and relaxed, they easily participate in the class. Over time, they learn it naturally and confidently.  Consequently, they can respond while listening to others. As they respond to others, it means they are good at the English language.

On the other hand, language users must be careful of the language that they speak in front of others. It creates an exposure of the English language for them where both understand and speak it.  Further, the teacher has to keep his observations while taking the class and trying to note them down in his notebook. It helps him to update his teaching skills.

So, once the teacher decides to give his best to the students, then he will be able to create a suitable atmosphere for the English language learners. It is only a matter of commitment and delivering what he has.
