Common sense!

 Common sense!

Once upon a time, an old man was travelling on a train. There was a rush in the compartment, but the people adjusted themselves with one another. Everyone was busy talking or eating. Then, some British officers came in when the train had reached the next station. Being officers, they secured the place next to him.

They started asking something in English to others, but no one replied. They came under fear and looked at one another. Then, that old man with smiling responded to them. One of them asked him,

 “Are you going to Baroda?”

He just uttered, “Yeah.”

Again another inquired him,

“Is the next station a big one?”

He said, “No. sir”

In the compartment, everyone looked at the old with respect. Within an hour, the officers got down at the next station after offering a vote of thanks to him.

As soon as they left the place, all gathered around that man, asking him curiously how he knew English and spoke with them.

He started laughing over their question. And spoke out that he knew only some words in the English language such as, ‘No, yeah, yes, okay, it’s okay etc.’

Surprisingly they put their fingers in their mouth. Somewhat it convinced them.

They realised that he used his common sense well.
