        The women of one of the families carved family duties in their hearts.
At my society there is a family whose female members are always seen busy in doing something and the house hold work. Sometime they look after the guests who come there. And these guests are frequently visitors. Even the people of the society keep visiting there. So the women offer a cup of tea and snacks too as they think ‘Atithi deva bhavo’.
Since morning I hear their noise and routine at 5 o clock. They get up and start preparing the tea, breakfast, tiffin box for male person. Along with that they find the time to do prayer to the God without losing their schedules. Whole day they are seen busy in cleaning, washing, and making the tea for anyone who passes by. They are always looked happy and enthusiastic. Even they assist their neighbours for small work. They work till 11 o clock in the evening. The people throng there for any purpose and even advice too. However they don’t allow these people to go without a cup of tea. It means the women are all the time on the toes and try to make the family and others pleased.
I am always surprised that they don’t take a rest in a day time too. During the Diwali festival, number of the guests either outsider or insider thronged at their home, but happily served them by keeping smile on the faces. They even prepared lots of sweets and other oily food items. The women of the family were seen on doing this and that and kept their home clean and neat.  Especially in the Diwali they stood for others and male of their family.
It is really miracle what energy they work without taking the rest. On every Sunday, it seems to be busy for them as their male members on the holiday. They make their spouses happy and contended by doing extra work like special dish for breakfast, lunch and ironing the clothes. But no males are seen to assist them and notice their contribution. Since 5 o clocks to 11 o clock the women are on family duty. They do it without any complaining or grudge. Throughout the year I have seen that they never go for any holiday outside and entertainment. They are firmly on family duty. As if the duty is carved in their hearts. 
Every time I observe, at my school, we all buzz about the workload and grumble of it. Openly we react at others as soon as any extra work comes. But the women of that family…….
1)     Where will they go for complaining?
2)     Who will they complain?
3)     What they will complain?
                                   I think that they have taken their life as an opportunity and service to the family is service to the Lord. I always salute them and draw the inspirations. Every time I pray for their well beings and health.
