God is everywhere!

God is everywhere! Last week, I got up and became happy on seeing my mother’s happy face and sensed a reflection and trace of the goddess. So, I decided thoughtfully that I would see a spark of God in everyone and everything on that day. Miraculously, the same thing occurred to me. On catching the college bus,   I met a driver of the bus with a broad smile. Then, my students greeted me with happiness. In this way, they made my day beautiful and happy. Further, I was offered a cup of tea by my colleague at the college. On seeing him, I got a trace of God in him, and at once, I became blissful. On returning home, my family members smiled at me and offered me a cup of tea. Therefore, I got convinced that God was everywhere. Automatically I felt very privileged and glad. It happened because of my thought and perception. So, it is very crucial for us if we face any problem in life or career. We have to change our thought and get the desired result. It is said, “Change your thoug

Failure became a positive!

Failure became a positive! I never knew how life took a turn and twisted. But it happened when I was studying in 10th and failed that year. Suddenly everything changed. I became alone and kept lonely. Hope, happiness, joy and dreams shattered. At times blame, fault, point of view and predictions stood and hurled before me. Mind, in the totality, occupied negative and started accusing fortunate. For a while, I was rejected and criticized. Then, I sensed that failure in actuality could become a positive and celebration to go ahead with double vigour and stamina. Then at every level, I put my efforts and confidence. Slowly and gradually, life became a place of joy, celebration and optimistic perspective. At that moment, everything changed and turned in my favour. Mind also accepted the future perspectives. That way, I kept moving and seemed failure as successful and positive. Presently every negative aspect of life looks like joy, challenge and celebration of my life due to my de

The Hundred Dresses -1 Summary

The Hundred Dresses-1 Summary The story is about a quiet and shy girl named Wanda Petronski, a Polish immigrant, who had come to America with her family. She attended school with American children who found her name to be strange and probably,  the weirdest in the classroom. This is because they all had easier names. She was poor and was always seen wearing a faded blue dress. Her classmates teased her because she claimed to have a hundred dresses “all lined up” in her closet albeit, always being seen wearing one. The ones who mainly teased her were the two best friends, Peggy and Maddie. Peggy was the most famous girl in school while anyone barely knew Wanda. Peggy and Maddie used to wait for Wanda before school even if it meant getting late. Maddie, a poor girl herself did not like when Peggy made fun of Wanda. She feared that she could be next. She wanted Peggy to stop making fun of Wanda, but could not summon courage to face her as she feared she’d lose her best friend. However,

Use your time carefully and purposefully!

Image
Use your time carefully and purposefully! Time is priceless, and we can never compensate for it. That’s why it is very crucial to use it correctly and precisely. Further, we should not afford to waste it only for ourselves but also for others. Once, the great thinker Socrates was in jail and supposed to be given a glass of poison the following day. Still, he was happy and asked his fellow prisoner, who was singing a difficult song at the moment, to teach him the lyric. That fellow surprisingly asked Socrates why he wanted to learn it despite his death the following day. But Socrates replied to him with a smile that he would at least master a new skill. Further, he would share it happily to God that he had not wasted his single minute but used it purposefully.     So, we should not waste our valuable time but use it purposefully! The following services shifted from their origins.

Nowadays, we see the following services shifted from their origins. 1) Earlier politicians were called social servants. Now they become more investors and earners. 2) The earlier school was considered a temple of knowledge. But now, it emerges as a source of money and assistant to taxpayers. 3) Earlier, the hospitals were called a place of health and reformation. But now, they become a place for collecting large amounts either from patients or insurance companies. 4) Earlier, the learners thought of becoming wise. But now, they focus more upon money-gathering courses. 5)   Earlier, helping was on the priority list. But now, money replaces it.  By Haridas Patil (Blogger, Educator and Trainer)

The words have power Promises are made or given by human beings, but they would be forgotten or broken. However, the words are always come reverting whenever they are used either negative or positive. They are firm by nature. Further, they are very loyal to their promises. Therefore, it is said that we human beings have to be careful in using them. As they can creating hope, frustration and anxiety in the lives of the human being. Further, it is heard and seen in ancient stories or epics that the sages used them consciously.  Their effects are far-reaching and long. Therefore, it is all the time said that they would be taken or given carefully.  So, they are to be studied well and used accordingly. Because they offer a set of results either negatively or positively. That depends upon us how and what to be used.    Today, we remember two characters from the Ramayana. Ultimately, Ravana met his death due to what words had been used by him despite Brahmin and talented. On the contrary,

Speaking English is a task for me.

Speaking English is a task for me to teach adult learners. So, I have to prepare creative and innovative ideas for them. Because they expect a lot and hope that they will learn it within six months. Apart from this, I will have to offer the public speaking course to them. In this direction, I need to keep material and ideas for teaching. Firstly, I have to use a simple and easy language. It must be related to day to day life and familiar. Secondly, I need to keep slow and clear English for them. Further, I have to use humour so that they will enjoy English well. Next point, I will enable them happy and satisfy every day. So they will learn it at their pace. Another point is that I have to take their needs into account. Initially, I have to focus on their speaking and listening skills. Once they understand it they will automatically start using the language. Along with these ideas, I have to take care of their more practice of English. It must be in day to day topics. The more they

The Second Day Report

Then, they listened to me and tried to learn. Further, they shared their families’ details. Twice, they had it, but they surely learnt the art of good speaking in the English language. In meanwhile, they listened to my story. It was about a blind boy. After that, they were asked few questions about the story. They liked the story and said that they learnt the positivity of life. By that time, I asked them to share their Monday routine. Happily, they did it and realised their minor mistakes. Importantly, they kept listening to each other. In the end, they were assigned about their class experience, and to send it on my WhatsApp. After that, they left the class and went home happily. Knowingly and unknowingly, we all learnt from one another. That was a learning point for all of us. By Haridas Patil (Blo

Not advise others!

Not advise others! In the garden, two people started advising each other. But nobody liked to listen to each other. They kept saying to each other that he should listen to him. Another person had the same view. However, it went for half an hour and lastly, they stopped talking with each other. After some time, they spotted another familiar person to settle their argument. That third person listened to them one by one. Then, he was about to offer his advice, but they both were stubbornly not ready to follow the third one’s advice. Consequently, three of them began arguing with one another. As if they had a serious issue with one another. Fortunately, a gardener saw them. And at first, he didn’t understand it. So, he came forward and asked them what had happened. Immediately he got an idea of their argument. He only suggested that they had to go to their respective homes without advising one another. He drove them outside sternly. At the last, he said to himself, “No
