1)  Enable the learners to learn the four skills of English language well: Listening, Speaking, reading, and writing.

2)  Prepare the learners to present their ideas better and confidently.

3)  Prepare the learners to express themselves properly and meaningfully.

4)  Make the learners to pursue their careers through better English.

5)  Make the learners to become a good speaker and writer in English.

6)  Prepare the learners to study English deeply and in details.

7)  Enable the learners to enhance their vocabulary and grammar knowledge.

Pre level of the learners:

A) They are from the divert background and learning mode.

B) They are not from English schooling and have no exposure of English.

C) They hardly read and listen to English in a day to day life.

D) They have less word power and not sufficient vocabulary.

E)   They are not much motivated and studious.

F)  They speak English very less and fear factor.

G)  They are second language learners and have not enough listening exposure.

H) They don’t have reading habits of English newspaper and stories books.

After going through such above observation and listening to them, we have come to conclusion that they need task based action. We have mentioned in the following ways.

Need based action plan:

1)   Maintain a daily diary in English.

2)  Keep every Saturday for spoken English. In that, they will speak on simple topics such as self-introduction, my family, my class teacher, my school, my city etc.

3)  Organize group activity in English such as dialogue reading, situational English activities and listening video of situational English.

4)  Arrange an elocution and storytelling competition.

5)   Keep Post prayer talk in assembly regularly.

6)  Arrange a seminar on English communication skills twice in a month.

7)  Assign the task of report writing about the seminar.

8)  Keep English corner. In which they will work on the assigned task.

9)  Every Saturday they will share their experience in English. They will express their thoughts in English.

10)                 They will keep a reading session and record their reading skills. So that they can listen to their English and try to improve their pronunciation skills.

11)                 Every day they keep vocabulary task in daily assembly.

12)                 Poetry recitation programme to be set for the learners.

As soon as we planned out the programme as mentioned above. We kept interaction and close observation about their participation. We noticed some improvements in their daily speaking and writing. Some of them actively took part in daily assembly such as news reading, word power and storytelling. Still, they don’t like listening to English news or speaker. Perhaps they don’t have a listening habit. They keep trying English speaking to some extent. That can be seen in their communication and expressions.

We have started motivation to them about their skills and efforts. We have maintained our seminar and visitors book with photographs.

We have already set target of inviting good speakers from the city and out of city such as Ashish Rawal, Manish Suthar an English writer and speaker from Rajkot and Mr Sunil Jadhav sir from Surat who is an expert in maths and good English speaker, Mr Jigar Pathak and Ms. Hetal Gajjar from good English speaking institute.

Post level of the learners:

1)  They start speaking English in daily routine.

2)  They start reading English newspaper and story books.

3)  They practice speech before the class.

4)  Some of them handle programme such as anchor, introductory speech and a vote of thanks.

5)  They maintain daily diary and blogs too on social media.

6)  They understand English well.

7)  They have taken initiatives such as speaking English in the class compulsory and charge fine to those who speak Hindi or Guajarati.

8)  They have worked on body language and expressions.

9)  They record their speech and reading in their mobiles, and they share with the faculties.

10)                 They listen to BBC radio App at regular level.

11)                 They speak English with an English faculty whenever they come across him or her.
