A young and loving couple in the train.
A young and loving couple
in the train.
Yesterday, on
Sunday that was dated 8 December, 2019 I was getting back to Surat from
Ahmadabad. After having some business work in city I caught Porbandar-Howrah
super fast train in the evening. It was crowded especially in general
compartment and had hardly seat for anybody. But the people from Orissa, west
Bengal, and other state easily adjusted themselves in the compartment. At a
time I stood somehow at one corner. These people though less educated and
labour by professional yet have very good way of showing their love to others.
As it happened like this in following way.
One young couple
around 23 or 24 in ages paved their way inside of the compartment. Probably
they were labourers. At first they started searching the place for seating.
They didn’t get it. But the husband didn’t give it up; finally he saw upside
and asked his wife to sit there which was perhaps 11 feet high. She was not
able to go up as it was high for her. However she kept trying, then the husband came
towards her on seeing her difficulty and lifted her on his shoulder in packed compartment.
After that she put the leg on his shoulder and walked up there. Everybody
looked at him with open eyes and surprised. Then he went there and took the
seat beside her. They looked at each other as if they were just fallen in love
and expressed their feeling to each other. On the way the husband even fed the
foods by his own hand to the wife. It was very nice pic of the today’s life. They
looked happy and loving couple. Simultaneously there was true love in their
eyes for each other.
Though they were not
educated and professional, but they showed true love. Otherwise the people used
to say ‘I love you’ to their loved one. But they would do it secretly and not
in the public like the railway or bus stand. That couple showed their true love
for each other. They didn’t show it off like others who always do it in the
public by saying their feeling and love in front of others. Yesterday they taught me the
real meaning of love.
In real sense it is not measured in words, money,
and gifts. But it can be done in genuine way and expressed. Such examples are
rare in the society and the world. We still remember the people like ‘Romeo and
Juliet. Heer Ranjha ,and Laila Majnu.’ I think that this incident of the train
can inspire the others to learn the act of true love.
