First Chance...
First Chance...
A farmer had a beautiful daughter. One day, a young man approached the farmer and said, "Sir, I would like to marry your daughter."
The farmer smiled and replied, "Go to the field. I will release three bulls, one after another. If you can catch the tail of any one of them, you may marry my daughter."
Confident and excited, the young man went to the field and waited.
Soon, the gate of the cowshed opened, and a huge, fierce-looking bull charged out. The young man had never seen such a massive bull before. Frightened, he stepped aside and thought, I'll wait for the next one. Surely it will be easier.
After a while, the gate opened again. This time, an even larger and more terrifying bull came rushing out. The young man hesitated once more and let it pass. He now regretted missing the first bull, but he still hoped for a better opportunity.
Finally, the gate opened for the third time. A small, thin, and weak-looking bull walked out. The young man's face lit up with confidence.
"This is my chance," he thought.
As the bull came close, he reached out to grab its tail...
But to his surprise, the bull had no tail at all.
Moral:-
Life presents everyone with opportunities. Some appear difficult, while others seem easy. Too often, we let the present opportunity slip away because we keep waiting for something better.
But once an opportunity is lost, there is no guarantee that another one will come.
Recognize the right moment. Be courageous enough to make timely decisions. The first genuine opportunity may be the one that changes the course of your life forever.
"Opportunity doesn't always knock twice. Sometimes, the first chance is the best chance."
