Is There Vacation For The Mother?
Is there
vacation for the mother?
Everyone gets vacation either Diwali or
summer, but our mother never has it. She all the time works for family as well
as guests. However we educated never let her have it. Sometime she is not well;
still she keeps herself busy in doing household work. Since morning to night
she always keeps working on everything. We know India is known as a land of
festivals. During this time she is too much busy in preparing special and
festival dishes for husband, son, and daughter. This list goes on increasing
and never ends. Even she runs for doing
shopping for everyone and guests.
Nowadays she is seen everywhere.
Either at market place or shopping mall or school parents meeting she is full
of these things. She is on list of every life object. The questions arise
before me:
1)
When will she have holidays?
2)
How many days will she have as mother vacation?
3)
Who can replace the place if given to her the vacation?
4)
Will either husband or son come forward and give her complete vacation?
Most of the
time anything wrong or mistake happens, we all start blaming or finding fault with
her. We never realise that we hurt her. We
sing a song of her glory, but never think of complete vacation for her as the teacher,
employee, and any type worker get it. Even all Sundays are gifted to us along
with these vacations. We all take rallies and movement in order to fight for
our rights against the government. But nobody has seen any types of rallies or movement for
her rights. Who will do it? Not sure! Nowadays the political parties declare the
manifesto at a time of election. They publicly announce the quota for all the caste,
but not for the mothers.
1)
Can we give her complete Diwali or
summer vacation gift to her instead of sari or anything?
2)
Can we work as she does? Like cleaning, washing,
cooking, and much more.
4)
Can any political party think of such
long vacation for her and try to debate at the parliament?
5)
Any idea?
