Manthara and Shakuni of present days
During the lockdown, every day we watch two most
famous television serials in India. That is ‘The Ramayan and The Mahabharat.’
In these serials, there are two characters Manthara and Shakuni Mama. They
became famous and popular by their nature as well as acts. Even the directors
highlighted them very much. As if they appeared for turning point and climax in
it. Though they play reel role in these serials yet it seems to be a real one.
Simultaneously, we come across such people like
Manthara and Shakuni mama every day. It may be at the workplace, society,
market, home, and social gathering. They always and actively advise others, “go
against your brother for your rights otherwise he will throw you out of family
and business.” Or “Why do you tolerate injustice of your family.”
Sometimes we
see that if the old lady is seen alone going to market, then she will be warned
about her daughter in law.
“Please see your daughter in law; she is dominating
you by ordering to go market.”
Even we see these people to poison other’s mind for
doing illegal work or heinous act. They always keep watch over these people’s
actions and spoil their whole lives. They never see the wrong parts of their
nature. In their circle, if anybody gets marriage, they motivate him to go for
his rights or separate from the parents to enjoy the luxurious life.
Even brother goes against his brother because of these
people’s nature. As if they play the role of Manthara or Shakuni mama and spoil
the happiness of the family and society. Further, they always guide others
until they are completely spoiled. That’s why we common people need to be alert
of such people and also aware of whether we play that role. If it is, we need
to stop it.
They bring climax and turning point in life like a
movie. Then we regret at the end of life. So it is better to take into account
of these people’s acts and correct ourselves. Further, we strictly warn them
and permanently break the relation from such people.
