 Money speaks………….!

Everyone believes in doctor, their service and humanity towards the society. It should be remembered and known it as service to God. During this hopeless lockdown and pandemic, the doctors seem to be different to us, either kind or cruel.

Father of one of my students was admitted at a hospital near his residence. He came from a middle family having three brothers as the teachers. All of them faced salary issue at school, so two of them started working in another sector. But they still had the same matter over there. So they decided to struggle thereby sticking with the job for family and living. Then their father was having a viral infection and admitted at a hospital near the home. It was hardly four to the five-minute distance between hospital and house.

Initially, they observed that the reception asked for advance and pressurized them. They deposited it immediately, but came to know that the doctor treated their father in the daytime. In the night, the bed was used only for sleeping. It was charged. There was not any injection, syringe bottle and checkup round during that time. So my student asked the doctor and reception if they could take the father home in the night and bring him in the early morning. So that it would be better for them and at least they could save some amount. But his plea was turned down, after while approached again to reception and begged before her. However, it was the second time rejected. On the other hand, she began asking for another advance at him. He was puzzled over their tendencies and worried about his father, and ultimately money pressurized him.

In this incident, the family tried to save money, at the same time the hospital ran after it. The former was trying to save it and the latter one was trying to make it.

Both of them directly or indirectly are worried about money-making. Consequently, they forgot the human being and his life. It is sung in a Hindi movie,

“ के पैसे बोलता है, के पैसे बोलता है……………………………”

Here money speaks for both of them. What a game of it plays with all of us and we automatically become helpless.
