Social Policymaker

                                                    Social Policymaker

Having a mind like steel at the age of 70, Arvind Bhai Jaiswal is basically from a small village of Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh and still working at his tea stall with a smile. Earlier he worked as a vendor of Dana and gram at Railway station for many years. Later on, he started this tea stall 5 years ago. His wife, younger child, elder daughter in law and grandchildren live at the village. Only the elder son backs him up at the tea stall. Both of them, in turn, cooks for each other living in a rented room. Every month he deposits some amount to the family into the bank account. During this unlocked period, he manages to work at his stall and shows a ray of hope to the family. Instead of taking rest at home, he regularly takes care of the tea stall.

When asked about the pandemic, he replied that he had seen like the same during the India –China war in 1962. At that time, the people were instructed to switch off the lights during the night. It was strictly observed. Because it was viral news that China would throw a bomb over any parts of India. Even he had seen ups and downs of life. So this pandemic is nothing for him, just a test of life. He believes that the mind should be stronger to fight back the Coronavirus.

This sets an example of Social policymaker, displays how the elder man fights back not only the virus but also the recession.
