Fly a kite or dream

 Fly a kite or dream

On the day of Makar Sankranti, a boy requesting his father to allow him to fly a kite in the sky. But his father told him to save the birds. Still, the boy was not in the mood of listening, held the kite and the thread tightly. Further, he showed the father about other boys flying the kites in the sky. He told him that he wanted to fly a kite higher and higher. Unconsciously the father not only tried to stop him but also his dreams of flying in the sky.

Everyone likes flying in life and career. Even a kite with thread and bird likes to fly in the sky. At a point, we people try to save the birds, and the same human wants to fly higher and higher like the birds. The interesting thing is that as if the competition is organised for everyone to fly higher and higher. The irony is that nobody is ready to come down on the earth.

The same time, we people generally pull down other’s legs consciously and unconsciously. Somebody tries going to the higher position, we will try to cut his wings like a bird. In this way, we never realise what outcome will come. We become either a flying kite or injured bird or bird saver.

In the end, we blame the wind and its direction for the kite flying and birds injured. In other words, we blame for a child’s development to luck, favour, money, talents and god’s blessing.

We never give a thought to what and how the children to fly and dream. We neither become a kite nor wind nor bird. That is a tragedy before us.
