Knowledge, wealth and ego are best friends!

Knowledge, wealth and ego are best friends! Whenever knowledge and wealth enter a person’s life, egoism accompanies them and starts dominating him. But ego will be out of sight if knowledge and wealth don’t exist. In actuality, Knowledge, wealth and egoism are in the same boat. They follow one another and don’t leave their association. We know that knowledge is power. That can be seen, observed and heard in daily routine. Let’s take an example, such as a professor introducing himself, “I am Dr XYZ. I have experience of twenty years. I am awarded as the best teacher by.” Further, a rich man does the same, “I am a rich businessman in this industry.” They do it proudly. On the other hand, the poor and uneducated person does it differently, “I am a poor farmer and working on the farm.”   They do it innocently. By Haridas Patil

Lethargy invaded me......!

Lethargy invaded me.....! Lethargy means passiveness invaded my life after the Corona had stricken the world. Consequently, there are two faces of me, and these are active as well as passive respectively. The first one had left me, and the second has invaded and stricken me. My life has changed at the personal and professional levels. No energy, enthusiasm, or passion lies with me. Somehow I push myself and expect the result in good form. But that does not happen.   Professionally and personally, I feel discouraged and unable to take proper action. Further, criticism, negativity, loneliness, fear, and hopelessness are in front, and the opposite of this has been far away. In the last, submissiveness has taken place and started dominating my nature. However, a ray of hope arises when I glanced at those derailing aspects of my journey. Then I started to bite the bullet. In my mind........

In my mind……… Every day I had some issues with myself and conflicted with my future. Either my brother’s successful marriage life or my marriage failure tortured me all the time. So, I have been at a mind war with myself. In consequence, I didn’t enjoy my life and career fully. Further, I failed to stabilize myself and always kept a fighting attitude in my mind.    That’s why I decided to pen down my true feeling in my blog and keep reading it repeatedly. Sometimes, I frequently change my mood according to the situation. But I get a realization of it and become conscious of the mind game. Consequently, I don’t concentrate on my work and skills. However, I get a solution and am happy to move ahead. Apart from these issues, I always think of financial issues. I set a target of one lakh per month. Despite this, I didn’t achieve it. Still, I don’t give up and like to chase my dream. That keeps me moving ahead. Let me try my best for a bright future and create a beautiful life.

Responsibility matters!

Date: 26 th November 2022 Day: Saturday                                    Responsibility matters! On the last day, I had the PTC class and began with a story of a small rabbit and a jar. Then I asked for the learning points and proceeded with some purposes. The students also participated in interaction and shared their learning. After that, I assigned them their daily timetable. They were jotting down and also thinking about it. After some time, they shared their timetable. Further, they shared their missing points with their friends. Slowly they got the realization about their responsibility. At least they had a sense of it. In the end, I introduced stress reducing game and had their final words before the disbursal. It was sure that they got their role in their lives and leadership. While training them, I was also going through my responsibility and asking several questions about my role. The session helped me identify my drawbacks. Then it quickly shot at me with a c

Report on my Diwali vacation

Report on my Diwali vacation My Diwali vacation started on 20 th Oct 2022. After that, I planned out of what was supposed to be done. I helped the family members for their work. In between, I took round of the city and met my professionals’ guides and had a talk on different topics related to education.   I visited my relatives and friends during this time, and ate new varieties of sweets. Simultaneously, I kept my update of writing and thinking about future course. After the ten days, I decided to stay at Jain Upashraya and with the Jain monks. I learn a lot and tried to apply for better future. I didn’t realise how the Diwali vacation has come to end. Still, at the end of the vacation I was not happy that I couldn’t achieve much of what I had decided before the Diwali. However, I assured myself about upcoming days which would be result oriented. It is said, “Hope is a rope through which you swing.”   I can say that I enjoyed my vacation fully. I returned my college a

Learning happened every time!

Learning happened every time! This Saturday, I was having a spoken English class at PTC College. As soon as I entered the class, I wished them and shared my views about Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. Following the story, I told them that I would take interaction in the class. That time, I shared one of the best stories of Gandhiji and took my communication ahead. At that point, I shared a story of a shoemaker and the professor. It was about a practical approach to life. But one of the students asked me something about the story irrelevant to the point of the story. Again, I shared a story of the teacher who was sent to the school for the interview. But he was rejected by the principal due to his attitude. Again, the same student raised questions about why I shared the story which was the same irrelevant to the class. I tried to explain it to him, but I failed to do it.                                                     Later on, I lost my temper and shouted at him. On the other hand, h

I became happy being a blessed man!

I became happy being a blessed man! As soon as I entered the first standard, one of the students touched my feet candidly and sought my blessing. At first, I thought for a while and became emotional. I suddenly realised that I was a blessed man on this earth. The day brought lots of value and respect to me. I felt proud of being a teacher.   I never expected such a thing would happen. But the student’s respect turned everything into a positive atmosphere. The happening taught me the significance of respect and value to others. That brings happiness and satisfaction. Similarly, we can carry such things with others with the hope of bringing joy and happiness into others’ lives. Lastly, it is said, “How long you live on the earth does matter, but how you live matters.”   By Haridas Patil (Blogger, Educator and Trainer)

I become jealous

I become jealous I always feel jealous whenever I see others' progress and happiness. I don't know why I become jealous and, how it comes into my mind. Though I am well educated yet I have this vice. Sometimes I think that education has failed in changing me and my life. Further, I have other vices in my life, such as negativity, lie, dishonesty and fake smile. That's why I opine that education has no relation to mental development. Only the Indian spirituality and the Gurukul system have the power to mould us from outside to inside.                         Therefore, everyone has to take care of Indian spirituality and culture. Moreover, he needs to go through them to secure a better future. Then we will be able to eradicate these modern vices. Otherwise, we become a puppet at the hand of these vices and live a life of helplessness.

Children and their childhood are not related to age but mindset.

Children and their childhood are not related to age but mindset. Yesterday I was in the first standard for teaching spoken English. As I saw 65 students sitting in the class, got puzzled over what to teach and how to control them, but I quickly and firmly decided to teach them practical English.   And it was related to their daily routine and body parts.   After that, I started to crack jokes before them. Slowly and gradually, I controlled their roaming in the class. They were ready to pay attention to me. They liked my sense of humour and speaking style. I became glad and satisfied after the period. Interestingly, I found many good things in the children and was surprised by their participation. I just noted down the points which I observed. -        They had lots of questions for me. -        They were ready to make lots of mistakes without any hesitation. -        They had lots of laughs while learning English. -        They were lots of happy with their participation.

My routine workout

Yesterday I was a little busy because of my schedule and a sudden call from Kishor sir. However, I didn’t produce any fruitful results. It was okay, but I needed to raise myself above par. There are various ways to create opportunities for me and go ahead with my mission. That is a helping hand to my family and my aunt’s family. I have to give my family around 25000 monthly and 3000 to the aunt. Apart from this, I am supposed to care for those who require my help. So, I must go for them and support them anyhow. The last saying is that I am supposed to focus on my core skills and work. That can help me out. For that, I must be authentic and integrated to me. Then, I need to keep every day’s workout session on my daily work.

My feeling about the present situation

Nowadays I am not working hard and facing lots of financial problems. Even I spend money without any thought on useless things. So I must stop it and plan out better saving ways. Further, I have to start workouts on my skills and responsibility. That is only my solution to recent problems. There was time for me to keep updating but I couldn’t continue. So I had the problems which were mentioned above. However, I have time and opportunity once again to begin my dream. My last sharing is that I keep my aim of earning one lakh per month. For that, I have to plan out that aim and start my action.

On a life of possibility

Living a life of possibility is a way to achieve extraordinary in life. It means that you always look for possibilities in life. You automatically take action accordingly. Further, you plan out and execute it labouriously. You all the time keep self-belief. Therefore, you feel like touching a stone while doing the work. On the contrary, you get a positive attitude and perception. That helps you out in each task. Then you enjoy your life with great hope and achieve what you have set in your life. You have to find out something extraordinary in each task. At least you can give a thought to it so that you get a positive solution. Then you easily move out and become optimistic. That’s why you need to live a life of possibility.     By Haridas Patil (A part-time teacher & a full-time learner)

For your success, your communication matters!

Date:- 08/08/2022 Day:- Monday I began with the importance of communication skills in the classroom. I questioned them, and they thought about those questions. Then I explained a diagram of the Johari window. By that time, they had recess and got a break. After that, Mr Rajesh sir fired his ideas and views before them and tried to clarify their doubts. As soon as he finished his class, we had a guest from Surat city. This week we had a guest lecture from Mr Prit Khandor. He conducted on Public speaking and its advantages. At first, he introduced a small introduction activity and started interacting with the trainee teachers. In the end, he reviewed his lecture by asking them several questions related to the topic. That was worth attending. By Haridas Patil

My first day of curiosity and hope at The PTC College

Image
My first day of curiosity and hope at The PTC College Much awaited for opening the PTC College like you, I felt happy and enthusiastic. The day brought all of us together on the journey of shaping society and the nation. In this way, all of the faculties had their class respectively and introduced their expertise before the students. I got my chance of coming up before you twice and kept interacting. I sensed a ray of curiosity and hope in you all. I thought those were essential for development. The day passed as if the Bullet train passed before me. However, I understood the importance of listening to others on that day. I hoped to focus on it. At the end of the day, I offered lots of thanks to God for the creation of everything. By Haridas Patil (A part-time teacher and full-time learner)

Thoughts on life

  1)     Generally, we neglect the present’s pleasures, and most of the time plan out for the future’s luxuries. Consequently, it makes our minds irritated.    2)    In life, many of us accept neither our failures nor others’ success. It, in reality, becomes a stumbling block to our success. 3)    Your communication always matters for not only you but also others. The way you communicate and use the words with others and yourself. Further, how and why you keep your communication. It displays your level of maturity and a life journey. So, you have to be careful and dutiful about your communication skill. 4)    The people who are busy and engaged genuinely in their lives. They surely find lots of ideas related to their work. That is a power of their true engaging in mission. 5)    Instead of blaming, accusing and throwing garbage at others. You can keep a habit of blessing them. That sets a change factor for you. The latter part brings an important point that is peace of mind for you. 6)
